What opting out turns off
When you opt out, or your browser sends Global Privacy Control, this site:
- tells Google not to use advertising cookies or send your data for ads (Google Ads remarketing and conversions)
- does not load the Meta pixel, the LinkedIn Insight Tag or Apollo.io visitor identification
- does not load HubSpot’s tracking code, which also carries HubSpot’s ads pixel
Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity keep running to measure how the site is used. The privacy policy explains each tool.
How your choice is saved
Your choice is stored in a cookie named lf_privacy_optout on this browser for 13 months. It applies to this site only. If you clear your cookies or use another browser or device, make your choice again there. A change applies from the next page you open; tags that already loaded on this page are not removed.
The buttons work without JavaScript. If JavaScript is turned off in your browser, the advertising and visitor-identification tags cannot run at all.
Other ways to opt out
Email hello@lafleur.one with the subject “Do not sell or share my personal information”. The privacy policy also links to each provider’s own opt-out tools.
